Fantasy Bedroom

Artist: Jimin Lee
Grade: 6th
School: Coppell MS North
Title: Rapunzel's Room
Teacher: Shannon Weaver

Artist Statement:
When making this artwork, I learned a little bit about dark and light: why did I have to color dark in some places and light in others. If I hadn't done this artwork, then I would be confused about this. It changed into an amazing picture. Do you know why I love making art? Because, my dream is to be an architect, so that's why. I am really proud of myself.

Artist Statement:
When making this artwork, I learned a little more about value and highlights. If I could change anything about this, I would lessen the darkness of shadows. My favorite thing about this project was making it look like me as much as possible. The background was created using the app Holographium.

Artist Statement:
I love making art so much because the art is the best thing that I can do and I know that art is a great opportunity for all the people who paint. The world without art would be very bad because with the art the people won't express their feelings.
